About Us

We are a group of concerned individuals in Christian County that are trying to brain storm some ideas that can help decrease or eliminate the out of control use of drug, alcohol and tobacco especially by our youth but anybody that is having issues with an addiction or any use of them.

The mission and purpose of the Christian County Prevention Coalition is to work for a community free of abuse by our youth of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs by mobilizing the community through education, support of programs that reduce risk or enhance protection, advocating changes in local policies that beneficially decrease risk and modify settings, and promoting positive family communication.

Membership, thank you for your commitment to be a part of the Christian County Prevention Coalition as we listen to your invaluable input and work toward a drug-free county! The Executive Committee looks forward to seeing you at the next meeting.

Hidden In Plain Sight

The Christian County Prevention Coalition has a presentation called "Hidden In Plain Sight" that walks adults through a mock teens bedroom revealing how teens attempt to hide substances in their bedroom. After the teens bedroom, attendees get to hear about how teens use social media to obtain substances and what apps you should keep an eye out for.
